Job Description

Gilead's mission is to discover, develop, and deliver therapies that will improve the lives of patients with life-threatening illnesses worldwide. As a Director, Launch HCP Lead you will be an integral part of a fast paced highly collaborative team, who are on a mission to increase awareness, knowledge, relevancy, and usage of PrEP as part of preventative health for all who could benefit from it. You will be responsible for:

Drives HCP L4P strategy and leads L4P execution in the USLead adaptation of Global L4P assets to meet US HCP customer needs including lexicon, campaign, and messaging. Includes, but is not limited to:oLead OPDP preclearance workstream and associated documentation/submission with RegulatoryoLead and develop new campaigns to be utilized by the PS Team while awaiting OPDP feedbackoMake recommendations for PS POA and lead development of LEN for PrEP HCP Personal Promotions call flow, objection handling, and materials for PS TeamResponsible for contributions towards Launch Readiness Reviews, timing, coordination, and execution for HCP strategyContributes to greater PrEP portfolio strategic decisions and makes recommendation on go-to-market choices. Leads insight generation and builds a holistic and dynamic view of the market using various sources—recommends trade-off decisionsSelects appropriate marketing KPIs and drives action toward optimal performanceManage agency relationships and associated budgetsPartnering closely with Regulatory, Legal, Medical, CL&D, II&D, Global, L4P Services, and PrEP HCP MarketingCollaborate with the HIV and franchise marketing teams, medical teams, and sales leadership to ensure a coordinated and appropriate approach to maximize program effectiveness Evaluate and evolve current approaches and systems (as needed)Design and deliver presentations to a range of internal stakeholders and external audiencesEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and Twelve Years’ Experience

OR

Masters' Degree and Ten Years’ Experience

OR

PhD and Eight Years’ Experience

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience.A Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related fields is preferred.Advanced experience with product lifecycle management is preferred.An advanced science degree such as MD, PharmD, PhD or an advanced business degree such as an MBA is desirable.Expert understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements and impact on development of marketing materialsProven ability to work well as part of a team and in leading teamsStrong desire and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentA minimum of 3 years in product marketing or advertising in the pharma/healthcare space is preferred.Expertise in prior roles with Advocacy, Community and National Health systems and services is preferred.An MBA degree or equivalent is preferred.Social Media experience is preferred.Experience in developing, reporting and communicating HCP e-Marketing metrics.Experience executing and measuring key e-Marketing tactics including websites, SEO/SEM, web-based detailing, email campaigns, podcasts and digital media.

The salary range for this position is: $221,170.00 - $286,220.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans*.
