Position Title: Jr AnalystReporting to: Collateral ManagerStatus: Non-Exempt – Full timeSalary: $24.50 - 31.50 per hour

SummaryThe Jr Analyst position reports to the Collateral Manager and will be responsible for processing incoming and outgoing mortgage loan documentation related to performing/non-performing residential mortgage assets.

Essential FunctionsProcess trailing documents delivered to our facility after acquisitionEnsure delivered documents are processed timely with our internal systems updated with the status and scanned images of the documentsCoordinate the release of the original documents from our custodian or our office to successor servicers/owners, other office branches or external foreclosure counsel, as requiredPrepare and coordinate the execution of certain mortgage loan transfer documents· Assist with managing 3rd party vendors in preparation of collateral documents.· Maintain detailed status records of all pending items with vendors, sellers and purchasersHelp maintain an up-to-date list of processed documents as well as released documents through our internal systemHelp address other document related requests from other internal departments, external custodians, vendors, and other external counterparties.Submit documents for recording, as neededPerform other related assignments / projects as requested by management

Position RequirementsExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work as part of a teamProactive thinking with detail-oriented and creative problem-solving approachMust be a VERY organized, detail-oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust demonstrate the ability to think critically and efficiently to meet deadlinesMust be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelPrevious experience with a mortgage servicer, due diligence vendor or secondary market investor is a plusWe will sponsor the hired candidate for a Notary License
