We are hiring a PSM, Premix Category Support who will be responsible for supporting the strategic growth and tactical execution of Glanbia’s Premix business through product management activities across all categories. This role will liaise and support cross-functional teams internally and externally in executing initiatives as well as strategies as directed by Premix Category PSMs. The PSM, Category Support serves as a support between Premix Category PSMs, technology partners, customers, and other relevant Glanbia functions:Responsible for supporting the portfolio and pipeline of Glanbia’s Premix offering across all categories.Support the development of business cases and clear financial return expectations for various business initiatives as directed by Premix Category PSMs.Collaborate with the Glanbia Insights team, Premix Category PSMs, and other sources to build deep market knowledge of the business from a customer, consumer, and competitive standpoint in order to support new target markets and opportunities.Support relationships with key customers and participate in joint customer calls with sales as the product expert, with a focus on building demand for innovation related products with our customers.Be a member and leader of cross functional teams where necessary.Act as liaison for internal customers (sales, finance, customer service, and purchasing, marketing, operations) for day-to-day product related strategies.Support and provides sales trainings where needed.Vet new global market opportunities (technologies, expansions, partnerships, etc.) identified by Premix Category PSMs and provide recommendations.Support go-to-market strategies for the portfolio as directed by Category PSMs and work with Marketing to execute globally.Support value based pricing across the premix portfolio by understanding key market insights and competitive set, in addition to working closely with Glanbia Finance in understanding true costs/margins.Support key inventory decisions for stock levels and work closely with relevant team members to maintain at a global level. Qualifications: Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a scientific background (Food Science, Nutrition Science).The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills, and an open mind to manage cross-functional teams.5-7 yrs. related experience within the food and/or ingredients spaceEffective organizational skills in scoping projects tracking projects, etc. Our protein systems have transformed the bar and beverage categories — bringing increased levels of protein, cleaner labels and greater product functionality to market. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado or New York. This range may not be applicable to other locations. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The annual salary for California, Colorado and New York based employees for this role is $85,000- $110,000.
