This position will operate in a hybrid work environment, 3 days per week in the office (Philadelphia, PA).

Overview:The primary function of the Private Investments Fund Accountant is to be a key contributor on the Alternative Investment Services team supporting the non-marketable alternative assets for the firm. The role will focus on the administration of private equity and hedge fund holdings, encompassing capital activity, quarterly financial reporting, annual audits, and tax deliverables. The role is also responsible for pricing hedge funds and private equity holdings using external partner capital statements and year-end audited financial statements.

Responsibilities:Private Investment Administration. Liaise with external administrator and review quarterly financial packages. Pricing of private equity holdings using external partner capital statements and year-end audited financial statements. Facilitate the processing of transaction activity including reconciliation of all monthly activity on Glenmede systems.Audit & Tax Preparation of Glenmede Private Investments. Support year-end audit and tax prep of Glenmede Private Investment Funds. Coordinate requests from external auditors and tax teams to ensure timely completion of deliverables. Partner with internal teams to support OCC and SOC 1 audit requests relating to Private Investments held in Glenmede client accounts. Client Services. Communication with external managers to facilitate client onboarding of private investments to Glenmede. Management of external administrator deliverables and reporting to Glenmede relationship managers and investors.Firm building and initiatives. Management of various yearly tax initiatives and investor deliverables. Active engagement in department-specific and firm-wide initiatives in order to expand capabilities, create solutions to unmet business needs, improve client experience, or develop more efficient processes. Ability and willingness to contribute to the advancement of team, office and business capabilities. Other duties as required by the position.

Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required4+ years of experience in financial services supporting administration of Private Equity investmentsExperience supporting annual audit and tax engagements Deep knowledge of Private Equity Fund Accounting, Valuation, and Administration processesStrong interpersonal skills, including clear verbal and written communication Preferred Qualifications:CPA a plusFund accounting experience supporting real estate and hedge fund holdingsExperience using DocuSign, Salesforce, or other CRM systems
