What does it mean to be a Funding Operations Manager with GLS?As a Funding Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of their assigned team. In this position, you will manage and execute programs, policies, and systems to minimize delinquency and reduce losses. In addition, this position will be responsible for hiring, training, developing, and motivating a team to achieve business goals and ensure compliance to policies.

How will you drive value within the organization as a Funding Operations Manager?Oversee funding performance, quality, customer experience, and process improvementDirectly supervise team: hiring, evaluations, timekeeping, coaching, and goal-settingAnalyze reports for strategy development and lead team trainingEnsure compliance, handle escalations, and foster a collaborative cultureSet departmental goals and optimize team schedulesConduct vendor site visits for quality assurance, training, and policy communication

What should you already know to be successful as a Funding Operations Manager?Bachelor's degree required3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience in funding or a related fieldConsumer lending/auto financing experience preferredSelf-motivated with proven initiative, problem-solving, and follow-throughExcellent interpersonal skills: conflict resolution, influencing others, handling sensitive informationStrong oral and written communicationAdaptable team player in a fast-paced environmentProficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software quicklyDemonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate a teamHighly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
