Job Description

Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Global Anti Money Laundering US Operations Systems and Support Team (OSS). This is an exciting time to join the growing OSS operations in the US as we embark on several initiatives to improve our systems and services. Additionally, we have a pipeline of projects in support of our stakeholders in the business.If you are a change champion and someone who enjoys working with stakeholders then we want to talk with you.The Senior Business Analyst plans, manages, leads, and oversees the end-to-end delivery of requirements throughout the lifecycle of the project in alignment with the business and/or enterprise needs and strategies. Provides leadership and works collaboratively with stakeholders including business, technology, and finance partners to support project benefits and changes to business processes, policies, and systems across single or multiple Lines of Business (LoB).

Job Responsibilities

Mix supporting projects in the business for GAML applications, working with/ technology partners to perform assessment and technology project effects on systems.Develop and document test plans and cases and impact.The process that goes with that, is archive, document.Some operational activities as well that are distributed amongst the team.Some tedious manual processes.Senior-level Business Systems Analysts must be able to quickly learn and understand our core applications and represent our applications in support of segment projects to define, document, and execute test plans and test cases.

Leads Requirements Management/work packages for Tier 3-4, low to moderate risk and regulatory projects with multiple stakeholders and across multiple LoBAdvanced to expert knowledge of business analysis, project delivery practices, and standards across the project life cycleGains/acquires sound to advanced understanding of business and user interaction with technology throughout project deliverySenior Business Systems Analyst works independently as the senior or lead business analyst and coaches and guides members within their area of expertiseIdentifies and leads problem resolution for complex issues at all levelsContributes to the communication and change management activities across multiple stakeholders

Leads requirements management on the project(s) which are based on complexity, size, and budget as defined by the project governance levelsProvides leadership/guidance and support in defining the business need or problem statement based on strategic drivers and identifying potential solutionsIdentifies scope changes and complete analysis to determine the impact on project benefits and risksFacilitates and follows a structured approach to plan, elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and manage business requirements with stakeholders by applying a variety of elicitation techniques to probe, challenge, and understand requirements according to the requirements management disciplineIdentifies, documents, and validates current state processes and works with the business and stakeholders to design the desired future stateEstablishes and maintains full requirements traceability and works with the business to prioritize requirements and scope changes to ensure business needs are metCollaborates with technology partners and provides recommendations to support the development of system requirements and design, testing plans, artifacts/deliverables to ensure business needs are metEnsures project issues and concerns are addressed for clear articulation of business requirements (e.g. Business Systems Analyst)Proactively identifies and tracks requirements risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and constraints and anticipates and effectively manages risks related to requirements. Required Education & Experience

Undergraduate degree requiredBusiness Analysis Accreditation is an asset5+ years of related business analysis experience required

Must Haves

AML/Banking applications exp (SAS, Oracle, net reveal )Functional use of various applications and system configurationDeep testing experience, they don’t do complex testing, needs to be thorough and documented well. Regulatory activitySelf- Starter

Nice to Have

Anybody strong in data mining and Excel would be beneficial to the team.GAML is strongly desired

Need a senior-level business systems analyst to be able to quickly learn and understand our core applications and represent our applications in support of segment projects to define, document, and execute test plans and test cases.Additionally, there would be small enhancement changes to make in some of the systems.Lastly, there are operational control activities that I distribute among the team, so this candidate would be assigned some of that.A demonstrated history of learning and testing as well as supporting multiple systems are key.Also worth highlighting is the fact that the person has to be used to supporting technology projects as the business test lead; we support business and technology projects as part of our support for the GAML applications.
