Required Skills

Five or more years of experience as an influential technical writerProven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matterExperience writing documentation and procedure manuals for various audiences, with embedded system experience preferred.Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detailExperience in working with engineers to improve user experience (ex, design, UI), refine content, and create visuals and diagrams for technical support content.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Skills

Firm understanding of SDLC (systems development lifecycle)Previous experience in software development, preferably in embedded systems, media players, soundbars, and smart TV technologies.Ability to understand the development cycle, read architectural diagrams, understand APIs and different libraries, and consolidate the process flow summary into a technical documentsProfessional certification (ex: Society for Technical Communication)Experience in using XML tools to create documentation

Education

Bachelor's or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
