Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Sitecore Developer to join our dynamic team at Globant Create. As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Sitecore-based web applications and solutions for our clients, who are prominent Fortune 500 companies based in the United States.
In this role, you will work on larger .com projects, leveraging your extensive Sitecore expertise to create digital experiences that meet the unique needs and demands of our prestigious clients. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working on projects that have a significant impact on the digital landscape and help shape the online presence of these industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performing websites and applications using full and headless implementations of Sitecore 10.Work closely with the project team to understand requirements and translate them into Sitecore solutions.Lead the technical planning and requirements gathering phases including estimate, develop, test, manage projects, architect, and deliver.Implement Sitecore best practices and optimize application performance.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers and perform code reviews.Collaborate with other team members to integrate Sitecore with various systems and technologies.Ensure the security of the Sitecore ecosystem by implementing industry-standard security practices.Continuously update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and external courses, reading manuals, and accessing new applications.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a Sitecore Developer, with at least 6 years of hands-on experience.Strong Experience with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA)Strong proficiency in Sitecore CMS, including Sitecore XP.Experience with Sitecore JSS is a plus.Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET MVC.Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.Knowledge of UX/UI design principles and best practices is a plus.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.Sitecore certification(s) is a plus.
