📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Job Title: Senior Vice President, Information Security Location: Hybrid (Washington DC metro)Compensation: Up to $220,000 base + bonus
Job DescriptionCurrently supporting a leading financial services organization looking to bring on a Senior Vice President of Information Security responsible for a team of Information Security Engineers and Managers. You will be directly responsible for the strategy of the firm and establishing policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the security of the company.
THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE
ResponsibilitiesCreate and implement Information Security strategies and roadmaps aligned with existing firm objectives Establish information security policies, standards, and procedures in compliance within the financial services industry regulations Lead risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities, and resolution and mitigation of found errorsWork cross functionally with other security and business units to implement architectures for systems, networks, and applications.
Qualifications10+ years in Cyber/Information Security 6+ years of direct leadership experience Bachelor degree or an additional 4+ years of experience; Master degree preferredPrior experience in leading and growing a team of Information Security Managers/Engineers Has had the opportunity to implement information security strategies, policies, and procedures, ideally in a larger organization / enterprise wide.C Suite Exposure / Comfortable engaging with senior level stakeholders
