Travel Nurse Recruiter - (prefer central or eastern time zone)

The Job:The Recruiter will cultivate relationships with Healthcare Professionals interested in traveling. He or she will provide the best possible traveling experience for our Healthcare Professionals and other healthcare professionals by initiating and maintaining exceptional rapport and providing extraordinary customer service.

Desired Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or relevant experienceAt least 2 years of recent experience staffing Travel RNsExperience running a full desk (client and recruitment)Proven experience in prospecting new businessExperience in a remote work settingMust sit in either the central or eastern time zone

Responsibilities:• Identify, recruit and manage qualified Healthcare Professionals for short-term assignments• Proactively contact current and potential candidates by telephone, e-mail, and text to establish relationships, understand their needs• Evaluate potential employee education, skills acquired in prior employment, personality fit and ability to work and complete the assignment and fully qualify them for job opportunities• Make candidate recommendation to client company opening for placement of employees on assignments for which they are qualified• Negotiate the wages to be paid to the prospective traveler employee• Educate prospective candidates on the personal and professional benefits of traveling• Manage travel employees during their assignment including counseling, handling performance issues, complaints and grievance issue, disciplinary action, pay adjustments, assignment ends or terminations• Persistently generate candidate leads through strategic planning and referrals• Strive for continuous improvement and career advancement• Serve as a mentor to new recruiters• Attend and participate in office meetings• Keep Division manager and Principles informed of important developments, potential problems and related information for effective management

Recruiting:• Exceed productivity guidelines to achieve above average end results• Provides coaching, on phone interviewing techniques• Ensure the up-to-date maintenance of the Career Services database, documentation, reports and records in accordance with company policies, government regulations and accreditation standards.• Responsible for meeting a weekly placement requirement.• Excellent negotiation skills• Identifying potential job opportunities that are a perfect fit clinically for the Healthcare Professional.• 75+ calls per day to Healthcare Professionals to generating job interest.• Completes telephone interviews and e-mail correspondence to prospective employers to determine their employment needs.
