Position ProfileWe are looking for artistic, detail-oriented candidates with great interpersonal skills for the position of Interior Designer. The Senior Interior Designer's key responsibilities include visualizing and producing design plans per the client’s goals, sourcing products and materials, determining costs and inspecting construction to ensure alignment with design specifications are met. You will also be expected to comply with the regulatory environment around inspections and building codes.As an Interior Designer for Gold Coast Interiors, you would be an integral part of the creative process and project management. Gold Coast Interiors needs an Interior Designer who feels confident taking on projects independently.

Senior Interior Designer ResponsibilitiesPrepare and participate in client presentations.Outline client design objectives.Conceptualize and create design plans.Create 'mood boards' to sample your design vision.Produce highly detailed AutoCAD floor plans and elevations.Determine cost of completion and project requirements in the budgeting phase.Set a timeline for the completion of an interior design project.Select furniture, materials, décor and finishes while keeping within budget.Conduct on-site observations and provide recommendations to help streamline ongoing design projects.Inspect design after completion to determine whether client goals have been met.Ability to travel to site with a car, valid driver’s license and insurance. Senior Interior Designer RequirementsBachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.5-7+ years previous experience in a range of residential, commercial and hospitality interior design.Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.Knowledge of SketchUp and Revit is desirable.Proficiency in Studio Designer.Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.Proficiency in drafting.Portfolio of design work.Project management experience.Organized, detail-oriented and thorough work style demonstrating pride and ownership in the quality of work.Proactive problem solver with exemplary analytical skills.Highly creative, imaginative and artistic.Comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment while managing multiple projects.Excellent communication skills, especially in regard to communicating an artistic vision.
