📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Goliath has partnered with a well concealed yet established proprietary trading firm that's expanding into the HFT space. The firm is comprised of just over 30 individuals, with more than 10 having PhDs. With the move to HFT, we have been contracted to find top talent within the HFT space, specifically Quant Researchers working with Futures/ Equities/ Options. The firm boasts upwards of 20% in yearly returns. This is quite a unique opportunity to join an incredibly smart team with like-minded individuals at the peak of its potential.
The firm is sourcing for a tenured Quantitative Researcher to be onsite in NYC to help accelerate of the growth of the new HFT Futures team.
Role:Design, implement and maintain software for strategy optimization (HFT/MFT)Implement new alphas for trading strategies.Maintain, enhance and grow the Firm’s portfolio of automated electronic trading strategies within the platformUtilize ML and Data Science to develop and improve modelling across futures/ equities.
Essential skills:BS in Comp Sci/ Mathematics/ Physics or similarly related field.Experience with designing and implementing strategies for futures, equities.Machine learning & data science experience.Market data simulation knowledgeExperience in C++/ Python - must have
Compensation:Total compensation between $650k - 1M (base + guaranteed bonuses) depending on years of experience and capabilities.
