📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Goliath has partnered with a well concealed yet established proprietary trading firm that's expanding further into the HFT-MFT space. The firm is comprised of just over 30 individuals, with more than 10 having PhDs. With the move to a higher frequency, we have been contracted to find top talent within the space, specifically Software Developers optimizing trading systems in Futures/ Equities/ Options. The firm currently boasts upwards of 20% in yearly returns aiming to take that a step higher in the coming years. Family fund available to buy in after only 1 year. This is quite a unique opportunity to join an incredibly smart team with like-minded individuals at the peak of its potential.
The firm is sourcing for a skilled & tenured Software Developer to be onsite in Chicago to help accelerate of the growth of the new High-Mid Frequency Equities/ Options team.
Role:The firm is looking for a tenured Software Engineer to be Onsite in NYC to help accelerate a one of the teams growth. Greenfield Development. Work involvement includes developing/ optimizing algorithms, latency software engineering, and data structures.
Essential skills:BS in Comp Sci/ Mathematics/ Physics or similarly related field.Proficiency with C++ and exposure in Python.Extensive experience with algorithm development/ optimization & data structures.
Beneficial skills:MSCS or similarly related field.Experience with tick dataKnowledge or work in a low latency/ Ultra low latency environmentBackground in trading development is ideal or financeMathematical achievements / competitions.
Compensation:Total Compensation ranging between $350 - 600k (base + guaranteed bonuses) + Discretionary bonus.
