About the position
Our client, a multi-billion dollar AUM Multi-Strat hedge fund, is seeking a Trader Assistant to join their team. The person in this seat will gain exposure to the fund’s multi-strategy approach, including fixed income, credit, and equities. This group sits physically alongside Portfolio Managers and Traders and directly supports the investment team. The firm supports internal career progression, as past members of this team have grown into trading roles from this seat.
Responsibilities:-Live PnL, risk reporting, pricing complex products, trade capture, booking transactions, and driving process enhancements.
Qualifications: -Bachelor’s Degree from a top university(minimum 3.3 GPA).-Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience within an investment bank/asset manager/hedge fund-Automation skills(knowledge of python,vba, and macros are a plus)
