Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director Risk Management based in Gorham, Maine. As the Director, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day risk management activities of the organization. This includes developing and implementing enterprise risk management strategies across multiple business lines, conducting risk assessments, analyzing various types of data, coordinating auditing activities, and overseeing the organization’s insurance portfolio. As a part of the leadership team, you will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure effective risk mitigation and compliance with applicable regulations. Additionally, you will provide guidance and training to staff members on risk management practices and procedures.

Qualifications Expertise in Enterprise Risk Management, including risk identification, assessment, and mitigationStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and statistical informationProficiency in auditing methods and techniquesKnowledge of claims management processes and best practices across all business linesKnowledge of safety and health, loss prevention, security/fire systems and insurance is preferredExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneouslyRelevant certifications, such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or Associate Risk Manager (ARM)
