Payroll Specialist Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree requiredStrong working knowledge of Dayforce is preferred.3-4 years of experience processing payrollHospitality/food service background preferredAbility to maintain a high level of confidentialityKnowledgeable in MS Office tools, Adobe, Outlook, etc.Knowledge in handling non-exempt payroll, including various occupations, rates, and gratuities preferred
Payroll Specialist Responsibilities
Partner with the payroll department to deploy solutions and proactively communicate needsKeeps Dayforce in place, guaranteeing complete and timely payroll processingEnters vacation requests, off-cycle checks, and manual time logsMakes sure that payroll, wage, and hour rules and best practices are followed at the federal, state, and municipal levelsConfirms and keeps up the Social Security Administration's new hire reporting
