POSITION SUMMARY

Entry level position that supports our Customers and Products with the identification, quotation, ordering and fulfillment of spare parts utilizing a customer-focused model.

As a Parts Analyst – Level I, you will form a strong knowledge of CNC Machine Tools, the Gosiger Infrastructure, and build relationships within your team, internal and external customers, vendors and builders. This allows for growth opportunities within the Product Support Division and further potential opportunities in other divisions within Gosiger.

Essential Responsibilities

Receive customer inquiries, prioritize the needs of all incoming inquiries, identify and validate correct parts as needed. Communicate with vendors to acquire quotations on our customer’s behalf while keeping them informed when necessary.Create detailed requests and purchase orders to support our Products and Customers business needs in our Service Management System.Accurately order spare parts and maintain spare parts orders from our vendors ensuring on-time fulfillment.Organize copies of work and communications within the Service Management System for easy retrieval and problem-solving.Maintain open requests and escalations, supporting and informing our Customers and driving satisfaction.Provide on-time return instructions and necessary credits to our Customers when applicable.Provide after-hours Product & Customer support through a team rotation.Keep an organized and presentable work area.Continuously look for process and department improvements, focusing on great internal/external customer experiences and improving efficiencies.Based on business needs, support the team and others by performing job functions within the department or other work areas to support demand.Continuously pursue development of current technical, interpersonal and communication skills. Further education, seminars, company training, and other external resources can be utilized.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must have high school education or equivalent experience. Formal technical training is desired.Previous experience in a dealership parts department, manufacturers tool crib, or automotive parts store is desirable.Great interpersonal communication skills.Have a basic mechanical/electrical/hydraulic aptitude with a drive to learn.Must have or be able to develop the technical knowledge required to be able to identify parts for the product lines that Gosiger represents.Must have excellent organizational skills with a demonstrated drive for attention to detail and customer satisfaction.Must maintain a professional and ‘service to others’ attitude when working with internal and external customers, team, builder representatives and suppliers.Must have basic computer skills needed to proficiently use job-related software/programs.Must be able to travel by vehicle or plane, and be away from home for approximately 1 week up to 4 times per year.

Working Conditions

Works primarily in an office team environment utilizing the telephone and computer to complete work and communicate. Employee will have exposure to the warehouse environment for order picking, packing and shipping activities to see Department operations from beginning to end. Incumbent needs to be willing and able to travel and be away from home for approximately 1 week up to 4 times per year. Will be part of an after hours rotation to occasionally support our Customers and Products at night and on weekends.
