We seek an experienced quality control manager to supervise a project based out of Honolulu, HI from start to finish.
Mandatory Requirements:USACE CQMC Certificate RequiredFive (5) years USACE / NAVFAC / VA Projects QCM Experience RequiredKnowledge in construction methods, practices, schedules, logistics, and budgetsCurrent safety credentials: OSHA 30 or USACE EM 385-1-1 and First Aid/CPR requiredLEED Experience preferred (certification a plus)Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently with minimal supervisionExceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to take initiative, problem-solve, and work in a fast-paced settingProfessional demeanor in person, online, and via phone with excellent verbal and written communication skillsU.S. citizenship or U.S permanent resident status required
An excellent Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all federal construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.
Responsibilities:Maintaining relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and other relevant parties such as architects and engineersEnsuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget guidelinesEnsuring that project managers are adequately trained and have the necessary resources to complete their tasksReviewing blueprints, sketches, and other plans for compliance with applicable building codesMaking sure that all work performed meets industry standards for qualityReviewing bids from contractors to determine which ones will be awarded contractsManaging a team of construction inspectors, ensuring that they are performing their jobs effectivelyReviewing contractor bids for accuracy and adherence to building codes and specificationsInspecting work sites to ensure that projects are being performed according to plans
