We are looking for a NVIDIA Jetson - Embedded System Developer.

Role Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded System Developer with significant experience in integrating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) technologies. While expertise in areas such as computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and audio processing is beneficial, the core requirement is a strong proficiency with NVIDIA Jetson devices, including the ability to leverage GPU support and execute hardware optimizations for maximum efficiency. This key role demands effective collaboration within our agile team framework, working closely with both AI specialists and hardware engineers to rapidly deploy real-time AI solutions onto existing hardware platforms. These efforts are critically aimed at bolstering public safety applications. The ideal candidate will be a pivotal figure in enhancing the operational performance and effectiveness of emergency services, making a tangible difference in the safety and security of our communities.

Key Responsibilities:AI and ML Model Integration: Integrate and fine-tune AI and ML models on NVIDIA Jetson devices, focusing on full utilization of GPU capabilities for advanced computer vision, NLP, and audio processing tasks. This includes adapting existing AI solutions to new hardware contexts, ensuring that models are optimized for real-time performance and reliability.Collaborative Solution Development: Play a central role in bridging the gap between the AI team, responsible for developing cutting-edge AI solutions, and the hardware team, focusing on the physical deployment of these technologies. Ensure smooth and efficient integration of AI capabilities into public safety devices, meeting the urgent needs of real-world applications.Real-Time Data Communication: Develop and implement robust solutions for efficient data communication between Jetson devices and cloud platforms, enabling real-time exchange and processing of critical information. This will include optimizing network protocols and hardware interfaces to ensure seamless data flow under all conditions.System-Level Optimization: Work on comprehensive system-level optimizations to enhance the performance and reliability of embedded systems within public safety applications. This entails continuous refinement of software and hardware integrations to meet the demanding requirements of emergency response environments.Agile Collaboration and Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in our agile development process, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative software solutions. Stay at the forefront of AI, machine learning, and embedded system advancements, incorporating the latest findings to continuously elevate our public safety solutions.

Requirements:Extensive NVIDIA Jetson Experience: Demonstrated expertise with NVIDIA Jetson devices or similar hardware platforms, with a particular focus on leveraging GPU support for hardware optimizations in AI model deployment.Specialization in AI/ML Technologies: Proficiency in integrating AI and ML models, especially in computer vision, natural language processing (NLP), and audio processing. Ability to adapt and optimize existing AI solutions for enhanced performance on new hardware.Real-Time Systems Expertise: Solid experience with real-time data communication technologies and the ability to develop systems that respond instantaneously to real-world inputs.Software and Hardware Integration Skills: Familiarity with JetPack SDK, Ubuntu systems, and a comprehensive understanding of the tools and techniques necessary for optimizing AI models on embedded systems.Agile Development Proficiency: Capable of thriving in a fast-paced agile development environment, with a proven track record of collaborative project completion and the ability to tackle complex challenges in critical public safety applications.

Qualifications:Master’s degree or Ph.D in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Proven experience in designing and deploying mesh networks, particularly in a defense or secure government environment.Expertise in AI, machine learning algorithms, and edge computing.Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, including encryption technologies and intrusion detection systems.Familiarity with military communication standards and protocols.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments.Strong leadership and project management skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
