Day Shift Production Supervisor

gpac is working with a client in New York, situated on the beautiful Hudson River, seeking a Day Shift Production Supervisor! The shift is Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. AND every other Saturday. Health, Dental and PTO!

Responsibilities

Manage/Supervise production staff through entire production process. Ensure that production lines are run in a productive and efficient manner Develop, train and coach staff. Conducts new hire and annual employee evaluations Plan, implement & control the daily production schedule Work with leadership to monitor data and help drive efficiencies - through KPI's, Continuous Improvement processes Hold staff accountable to standard operating procedures for production operations Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with Quality & Safety established procedures and standards.

Requirements

5+ years management experience of teams in food/beverage manufacturing required Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment High-Speed, Automated Processing equipment Strong communication skills, including listening, speaking and writing MS Office proficiency· Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math skills and ability to analyze metrics Knowledge of food regulations and safety
