Position Summary

Full-time position to support various administrative tasks within accounting, purchasing and HR. Primary job duties include: Payroll reporting, accounts receivable, assisting accounts payable, and supporting various administrative tasks within the Accounting Department.

Responsible to Controller for successful performance of assigned tasks.

Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesPayroll:Review and process weekly payrollsAssist with timekeeping entries and adjustmentsResearch and adjust pay/timekeeping discrepanciesWork closely with HR regarding payroll related tasksAccounts Receivable:Process daily invoicing and cash receiptsResearch debit/credit memo requestsCustomer Account maintenanceTake collection steps to ensure payment within termsPrepare and report weekly AR Aging and customer statsAccounts Payable:Assist in entering and processing vendor invoices and other accounts payable transactions in accounting systemAssist with preparation of accounts payable check runs as neededInvestigate invoice discrepancies and supplier concerns as neededAssist in reconciliation of accounts payable and other accounts at period closeOther Accounting:Administer and maintain supply closetMain Phone Coverage – route callersUpdate daily/weekly reports as assignedAssist with other accounting or administrative projects as neededKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable principles Strong analytical, critical thinking and organizational skills, detail orientation and interpersonal skills.Ability to collaborate and communicate with all levels of employees and management.Demonstrated ability to implement creative solutions. Takes initiative and is self-directed.High level of integrity to ensure accurate reporting of financial data.Can work independently without a great need of supervision.Can manage multiple projects at one time.Good communication skills.Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. SAP knowledge a plus.Education and Experience Accounting or Finance degree with 0-4+ yrs experience

Salary Min: $42,845.00

Salary Mid: $53,580.00

Salary Max: $64,315.00
