Escrow Officer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Duties- Manage and oversee the entire escrow process for real estate transactions- Review and analyze contracts, loan documents, and other relevant paperwork- Coordinate with lenders, buyers, sellers, and other parties involved in the transaction- Prepare and review escrow instructions and settlement statements- Ensure all necessary documents are properly executed and recorded- Calculate and collect fees, taxes, and other financial obligations- Disburse funds to the appropriate parties upon completion of the transaction- Maintain accurate records and files related to each escrow transactionSkills- Strong knowledge of banking procedures- Proficient in escrow processes and regulations- Ability to interpret complex contracts and legal documents- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all escrow transactions- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentFAMILIARITY WITH QUALIA A PLUS!
