📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Based in New York City, an esteemed law firm is seeking a Retirement Benefits Specialist to join their team. They are committed to excellence and seeking individuals who provide top-notch service.
Salary: $95-105k base.
On-site four days per week
Responsibilities:Act as the primary point of contact for retirement benefits inquiries, providing comprehensive assistance to employees.Collaborate with colleagues to develop retirement budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and effectiveness.Create clear and concise communications regarding plan administration for employee understanding.Assist in maintaining quality control procedures and updating plan administration manuals for accuracy.Support the Manager in various tasks, including audits, financial statement preparation, and regulatory filings.Prepare detailed meeting minutes to accurately document discussions and decisions.Undertake special projects and additional responsibilities related to retirement administration as needed.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in benefits administration, with at least 2 years specifically in retirement plans.Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and pivot tables, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.Willingness to occasionally work outside of regular business hours to meet project deadlines or address urgent needs.
