Join a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to making a positive impact on our community as an HR Director. The HR Director will lead a dynamic team in fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture.
Salary: $115-135k base
On-site 2-3 days per week
Key Responsibilities:Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of HR Generalists who provide essential support to our programs and staff, fostering collaboration and professional development opportunities.Employee Relations: Manage employee relations issues with sensitivity and integrity, conducting thorough investigations and providing guidance to resolve conflicts effectively.Policy Implementation: Partner with leadership to develop, implement, and interpret HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and values.Performance Management: Provide guidance to supervisors on performance management strategies, fostering positive work relationships and continuous improvement opportunities.Recruitment and Hiring: Collaborate with hiring managers to develop innovative recruitment strategies, ensuring competitive compensation and a diverse candidate pool.Talent Acquisition: Identify staffing needs and partner with the Director of Talent Management to oversee full-cycle recruitment processes, attracting top talent to support our mission.Data Insights: Work closely with the HRIS Data Specialist to analyze HR data, translating insights into actionable strategies to drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I): Champion DE&I efforts, creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment that values diversity and promotes equal opportunities for all employees.Compliance and Auditing: Ensure overall compliance with HR policies and regulations, conducting internal audits and investigations as needed to maintain a culture of integrity and accountability.
Requirements:Experience: Minimum of 10 years of HR management experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role within the nonprofit sector.Education: Bachelorβs degree in Human Resource Management or related field required; Masterβs degree preferred. SPHR or PHR certification is a plus.Expertise: Strong background in employee relations, training facilitation, and knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Proficiency in HRIS and talent management systems is essential.Communication: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze HR data and metrics, identify trends, and develop data-driven strategies to support organizational goals.Leadership: Demonstrated supervisory and leadership skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
