📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Electrical Engineer
We are working with a well-established close-nit engineering company in the South Toledo areain need of a traditional Electrical Engineer with low to medium voltage design experience forindustrial applications.
You will be designing and specifying 480 VAC distributions systems including switchgear, MCCs,power panels, transformers, and VFDs. You will be designing and specifying lighting systems, grounding systems, surge protection, andbuilding lightning protection. Experience with generator and transfer switch sizing and specifying. Familiarity with applicable NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 820, NFPA 780, IEEE/ANSI and UL standardsincluding hazardous locations. You will survey, document, and assess existing electrical installations. Develop electrical drawings and specifications for construction projects. Provide electrical construction services, submittal and shop drawing review. Familiarity with medium voltage distribution systems a plus.
BS in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology required. Seven to ten years of experience in the skills listed preferred. An Ohio PE registration is desirable.
This is a 100% onsite / in-person role with periodic travel to customer sites as needed.
Our client offers a base salary in the $90-115K range based on experience and credentials,employee benefits at no cost and other benefits.
