📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Store Manager at Green Way Markets is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the supermarket's operations to ensure exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and maximum profitability. This position involves leadership, strategic planning, team management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations of the store, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.Train and supervise store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.Monitor and maintain appropriate stock levels to meet customer demand.Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.Create employee schedules and manage payroll to ensure adequate staffing levels.Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance the store's appearance and maximize sales opportunities.Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and drive sales.
