Position: Technical Security AnalystLocation: Must live within 50 miles of Pleasanton, Vacaville, or Sacramento, CAPay: $65/hrExperience: 5+ years of experience in information security and forensics and/or security incident responseEducation: CISSP and CCFP or equivalent certification desiredType: Full-time; ContractSchedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Green Resources is seeking a Technical Security Analyst to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

Provide in-depth analysis with a high-level view of goals and end deliverablesRemain proactive and complete work efficiently in a timely mannerPlan and manage all aspects of the support functionElicit and gather user requirements and/or problem description information and record this information accuratelyConvey and explain complex problems and solutions in an understandable language to othersThink creatively and critically, analyzing complex problems and carefully selecting solutions appropriate to the business needs, project scope and available resourcesTake responsibility for the integrity of the solutionWork collaboratively with other support team members and independently on assigned tasks and deliverables with minimum supervision

Position Requirements

Ability to analyze information through critical thinking and formulate solutions to problemsExtensive knowledge of and proven experience with information technology systems and methods of developing, testing and moving solutions to implementationExpert knowledge in project management practices and ability to document process and procedures as neededSelf-motivated self-starter/proactive, working closely and actively communicating with team members to accomplish time critical tasks and deliverablesWorking experience of obtaining Cyber Threat Intelligence and making the information usable through the security incident processWorking experience of applying IOCs to identify threats in current environment and apply information to prevent future vulnerabilities in infrastructureTechnical security project management skillsWorking experience using best practices standards and frameworks: ISO 27001/27002; PCI DSS v4, GLBA; HIPPA/HITECH; NIST 800-53; CIS CONTROLS, NIST CSF; CIS RAM
