Shifts

1st Shift- 7am- 3pm

2nd Shift- 3pm-11pm

Pay

Entry Level Weld Pay Ranges from $24.99- $26.99

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Maintains a high focus on safety and quality within the departmentIdentify work to be performed via MII or SAP work center priority and access unit and assembly drawingsReads and interprets blueprints and machine drawings to determine specific welding requirementsSize up components and verify they are within specified tolerancesSet up weld equipment for specific task to be performedWeld components using proper equipment and techniquesGrind and finish welds to make aesthetically appealingOperate material handling equipment as needed, based on safety guidelinesPerform daily housekeeping tasks (5S) and preventative maintenance tasksHigh level of focus and concentration level to ensure quality work and to avoid safety hazardsOther duties, as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Between 6-12 months welding experience, requiredAluminum welding experience, requiredBasic Math & Computer skills, requiredAbility to pass welding test on material in use, requiredAbility to safely operate equipment (welder, torch, plasma cutter, grinder, material handling equipment), requiredAbility to operate basic hand/power tools and read measuring devicesAbility distinguish the various thickness and types of materialStrong attention to detail and high focus on safety and qualityAbility to communicate effectivelyMust lift up to 50lbs on a routine basisStand for a minimum of 8 hours per dayContinuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending etc.
