FSQA Tech

AM Shift

With start time at 04:00am- 05:00am

Schedule and Pay

$24.00 per Hour4 days per week and 10:00 hours per shift with possible additional hours and weekend shifts

Duties

(not limited to)

Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices following all sanitation and process, procedures, guidelines and reference SOP’s where applicableAssist in the implementation of changes that advance QA systems and/or programsConduct product quality auditsParticipate in projects and meetings with goal of improving food safety and food qualityPerform and/or assist in daily quality and food safety related decision making based on established processes to ensure products meet the quality standards and food safety requirements of Greenleaf Foods, SPC, Maple Leaf Foods and its customersPerform data entry and data analysis tasksPerform daily monitoring and verification tasks as outlined in the HACCP program and recommend corrective actions for deviationsPerform microbiological and analytical sampling for product and environment as requiredPrepare sensory samples and participates in sensory evaluationsProvide support and coaching to employees and production management to maintain and improve facility QA practices and proceduresOther duties as assigned

Qualifications

2 years of experience in a HACCP recognized facility in a food safety or quality assurance roleAbility to be flexible and deal with complexity. Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected eventsAble to work in hot and cold environmentsDetail oriented and organized, able to work independently with minimal directionFamiliarity with WSDA and FDA product standardsProficiency in Microsoft Office & database systems, experience with SAP highly desired

Ability to bend, reach and lift repeatedly (up to 30lbs)Ability to work with your hands extensively and stand on your feet for 8 hoursEnglish proficiency for reading, writing and communicatingDrive to continuously improve performance, efficiency, and speedFSQA experience in food processing, manufacturing is highly preferred
