JOB TITLE (#1552 ): Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse - Jersey City, NJ
Minimum of 1 year nursing home experience is preferred

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:Must hold a current, valid NJ LPN LicenseAt least 1 year experience in a nursing home is preferred

Schedule of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:This is for a Full-time, Part-time or Per Diem positionDay and night shifts availableExpected hours: 7.5 – 37.5 per weekMonday to Friday, rotating weekends, weekends as neededSupplemental schedule: Holidays, On-call, Overtime
Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:The staff nurse will perform direct services for residents/patientsAdminister medications and provide treatmentsProvide personal care to facilitate continual assessment and evaluation, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.Coordinate the communication of the resident/patient care needs with members of the other disciplines.Identify and delegate suitable components of care to CNA; supervise, educate, and provide guidance as necessary.Functions independently with minimal direction from the unit manager; assumes charge and staff nurse responsibilities as assigned.Participate in the nursing quality assurance programs.
