Requirements of the Physical Therapist:Must have an active NY State LicenseNew graduates are welcome to apply
Benefits of the Physical Therapist:The salary for this position is $50 - $70 / hrThis is a Part-time position (once a week - Tuesday or Thursday)
Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist:Consult with patients to learn about their physical condition.Assess and interpret patient evaluations and test results.Develop treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques.Create personalized fitness-oriented healthcare programs for patients.Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.Advise patients on exercise techniques.Advise patients and their families about in-home treatment options.Provide educational information about injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote physical health.Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.Document patient care history.Comply with rules, regulations, and procedures.
