📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
As a grounds person you will be responsible for the following list.• Assisting with the setup and operation of equipment used for tree removal and trimming, such as ropes, pulleys, chainsaws, and wood chippers.• Working closely with arborists or tree climbers to safely lower branches and sections of trees to the ground using rigging techniques.• Clearing away debris, branches, and foliage from the work area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.• Operating wood chippers or other equipment to process branches and trimmings into manageable pieces for disposal or recycling.• Assisting with the loading and transportation of debris to designated disposal sites or recycling facilities.• Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries during tree removal and cleanup operations.• Communicating effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficient workflow throughout the tree removal and cleanup process.
Overall, the primary responsibility of this role is to support the safe and efficient removal of trees and trimmings while maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
