Job Description

Position Responsibilities

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Consistently demonstrates and incorporates principals of safety for self and others into daily activities. Attends required safety training and participates in emergency drills and exercises.Reports all safety and quality problems to the Production leads or Production Manager.Inspect machines for safe operationChecking vehicle and trailer to ensure the mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working orderOn a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment as necessarySafely load, unload, move, stack, and stage sorted raw materials using a forklift, or other power industrial equipment as necessaryPerform quality inspections of materials, grading properly, and ensuring that the delivery is completed as requested and that the order meets company and industry standards.Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashionConsistently maintains acceptable level of productivity.May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Essential Skills And Experience

Ability to show up for entire scheduled shiftsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk/bend/ lift continuously and perform physical tasksAbility to operate various machines as required.Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions.Ability to work independently or in a group.Strong attention to detail.
