GTN Technical Staffing has a client looking for a dynamic and inventive Head of Product Design to bolster their expanding Product team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in sculpting and refining user experiences across our cutting-edge cross-platform shopping environment. Your expertise will be pivotal in collaborating with diverse teams, engaging in user research, and crafting user interfaces that not only fulfill user requirements but also propel our client to new heights.
ResponsibilitiesProduct Strategy & PlanningDelve into customer insights through human-centered research methodologies, shaping a robust product strategy backed by personal expertise, customer data, and industry insights.Contribute to the overarching product strategy and roadmap, overseeing the design of various facets of the product experience, including membership systems, loyalty programs, and product UX.
User-Centered DesignLead the entire design lifecycle, from user research and needs identification to the development and refinement of design solutions, wireframes, and prototypes.Create visually captivating and intuitive user interfaces in alignment with brand standards to enrich the overall user journey.Work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into user-centric design solutions.
Design LeadershipStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and UX design best practices.
Design SystemCollaborate in maintaining and evolving design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency.Ensure designs prioritize accessibility and comply with relevant standards and guidelines.
QualificationsDemonstrated experience of 5+ years in UX design or similar roles, accompanied by a robust portfolio showcasing your expertise.Proficiency in UX design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or equivalents.Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and usability standards.Strong time management abilities to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Capability to incorporate constructive feedback into design iterations.Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.Experience in responsive and mobile-first design.Passion for the fashion industry and a drive to make a significant impact.Background in fashion or luxury product segments.Experience working in startup environments and remote settings.
