Financial Analyst

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced Financial Analyst to join our fast-growing dental partnership network’s (“DPN”) Accounting team. SummaryThe Finance Team performs FP&A functions to drive strategic decision-making across the company. This position reports directly to senior management and contributes to the continued development of the organization's financial and strategic goals. The target candidate is an analytically minded individual with strong finance and/or accounting skills that will help improve profitability, business performance and data driven decision making. They will identify process improvement opportunities and partner with senior management to ensure improvements and solutions are implemented. The right candidate will also have a strong desire to contribute beyond this primary responsibility, contributing to financial analysis across an array of company initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities Work closely with the Vice President of Finance and other senior members to enhance and maximize business performanceDrive core budgeting processes and forecasts in close coordination with other members of the organizationDeveloping new analytical packages and driving improvements in overall FP&A processes in order to simplify and enhance the organizationProvide critical financial analysis relating to the company’s strategic plan (e.g. cost savings opportunities)Identify key financial metrics and offer recommendations based on analysisEvaluating strategic alternatives, integrations and other strategic growth initiativesPerforming ad hoc analyses (e.g. deep dive cost studies) that support management in developing initiatives to drive growth and margin improvementsSupport financial reporting preparation of individual and consolidated financial statementsAssist in the preparation of presentations to senior management and Investment membersAssist with Lender relationships and required financial reporting preparationLead or participate in cross functional projects as assigned

Required Skills & AbilitiesBachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance5+ years of relevant experience (Preferred: Healthcare specific)Experience specifically working in budgeting, forecasting and core FP&A functionsStrong proficiency in Excel and PowerPointMust be results-oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlinesDemonstrated experience working in teams and independentlyProject management skills and analytical/problem solving abilitiesEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build relationships across the company outside of finance and accounting
