Production Control Scheduler 2nd Shift

Your Job

Reporting to the Materials, Planning and Logistics Manager, this position provides the daily paint schedule for the paint manufacturing system to insure on time deliveries to customers.

What You Will Do

Meet with the Materials Scheduling Clerk to review scheduled production runsCommunicate with production department managers throughout shift to ensure adequate inventories meet shipping schedulesAdjust schedules as needed in the Automated Storage/Retrieval System (ASRS) computerMonitor ASRS throughout shift to ensure proper racks are available for paint schedulesCheck Kanban cards against inventory levels and paint schedulesConduct daily cycle countsProvide Material Handler support as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact with all levels of managementCapable of working with minimal supervisionComputer skills including word processing and spreadsheetsStrong math skillsForklift experience (ability to pass written and driving test)Proficient in developing interpersonal relationshipsHighly motivated, self-starting individual who is comfortable working as part of a team
