What You Will Do

The Guidehouse’s Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure (ES&I) practice provides technical and strategic planning, analysis, and implementation support related to energy technologies, policies, and initiatives for the public sector including the Department of Energy.

Responsibilities

As a Managing Consultant on our team you will support and lead engagement with communities impacted by the energy transition. Specific responsibilities may include:

Supporting federal energy clients with design, formulation, and implementation of efforts to engage communities as partners on their programsWork across a broad variety of energy technology deployment and communities across the countryLead stakeholder engagement workstreams including developing engagement strategies, developing engagement content, supporting stakeholder workshops, and tracking engagementProviding detailed research and analysis on communitiesPreparing reports and other deliverables for clients

What You Will Need

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field5 - 7 years of directly related working experienceExperience related to any of the following: grid and utility programs, hydrogen, carbon capture, energy efficiency and industrial decarbonization or other energy technologiesExperience with community-level engagementExperience building and/or executing stakeholder engagement or communications plansExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel 25%Must currently reside in the USANo sponsorship for this position; Due to nature of client engagements, US Citizenship restrictions may applyThe successful candidate must not be subject to employment restrictions from a former employer (such as a non-compete) that would prevent the candidate from performing the job responsibilities as describedThe salary range for this role may vary based on relevant degree, work experience and physical location at time of hire
