What You Will Do
As an Automation and Analytics Consultant, you will be a member of our Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management practice and part of a team responsible for solving the most complex and strategic issues faced by hospitals, health systems, and medical groups. Typically, Automation and Analytics Consultants work on multiple assignments at any given time and receive exposure to a broad range of healthcare projects, including strategic planning, healthcare reform readiness, physician/hospital integration, financial /risk modeling, and merger and acquisition design.
Responsibilities Would Include
Assist seasoned consultants in developing project approach, strategies, and work plans. Perform detailed, quantitative analysis; build Excel models; and prepare operational and financial projections. Conduct stakeholder interviews.Supply data and/or quantitative info. that develops project findings and recommendations. Prepare project materials and reports.Work with the larger teams and as well as take the lead on presentation of final deliverables that go to client sponsors.Assist in design and implementation of recommended solutions. Work with several project teams and Guidehouse Associate Directors and Executives.Effectively communicate with Guidehouse management and client staff.
What You Will Need
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university1+ years of applicable professional experience (Operations, Administration and/or Healthcare)Experience developing analytical models and structuring methodologiesDemonstrated diagnostic, analytical, and quantitative skills (financial modeling/planning skills a Plus)Demonstrated management of smaller work streams or deliverablesAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite expertise, especially ExcelAbility to travel 75% or more
What Would Be Nice To Have
Master's degree from accredited university in business or health-related field preferredStrong written and oral communication skillsSignificant knowledge of the healthcare industryTrack record of strong client serviceProven track record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projectsAdditional qualifications include efficiency, flexibility, innovative problem-solving skills, a high level of motivation, and excellent organizational skills. Must be able to work well independently and within team structures.
The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
