Up to a $5,000.00 Sign on Bonus!!
Position Summary: Provides general support tasks (clinical and non-clinical) for assigned patient care area. Works with other members of the patient care team to deliver care to patients in age groups including newborns, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. In addition, the Patient Care Technician is responsible for venipuncture and specimen collection following Laboratory protocols.
Experience: No previous experience required.

High School Grad or Equivalent
Essential Functions
Performs routine and specialized phlebotomy proceduresTransports patients as needed, serves and retrieves trays, distributes water pitchers, orders and distributes nourishment. Participates in patient safety/patient satisfactionCorrectly identifies patient, labels specimen accurately and follows the policy and procedure for obtaining specimensAnswers call bells promptlyMakes rounds to check on patients hourly. Reports any signs of abuse promptlyReports need for equipment repairMaintains neat and tidy environment (empties laundry, delivers equipment, keeps patient rooms clean and safe). Is authorized to access secured storage areas in the performance of essential job functions and dutiesParticipates in the delivery of patient care for patients of all age groups under the direction of an RN, including but not limited to:Lifting, turning, and positioning patientsObserving confused and difficult patients
The pay for this position ranges from $16.00-$22.37/Hour
