Senior Roadway Project Manager, Transportation Lead

DescriptionWe are seeking a Project Manager to be part of our Transportation Team in Austin. The position will be responsible for leading pursuits, client relationships and building the Roadway team in Texas. This role includes accountability for corresponding with the Market Leader(s) to obtain the resources needed to execute projects successfully for our clients. This position requires the greatest level of communication and accuracy and is key to obtaining repeat business from our clients. ResponsibilitiesRegularly market services to current and prospective clients Lead technical proposals/presentationsRecruit roadway and drainage professionals to build the teamOversee engineering designs, including geometric alignments, profiles, cross-sections, construction, and maintenance of traffic detailsPerform functions such as reviewing and writing reports, workload projections, and other activities that ensure the team knows where to focus their effortsExecute production of project requirements to ensure contractual obligations are metCoordinate plans, calculations, and specifications amongst multi-discipline engineering teamsQuality review project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and to avoid errors and omissions

RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Civil engineering from an accredited four-year collegeTexas Professional Engineering Registration20 years of design and project management experienceBusiness Development experience MicroStation/GEOPAK/Open Roads experience preferredExperience with 3D Corridor Modeling is a plusKnowledge of TxDOT plans preparation and design standardsKnowledge of other transportation disciplines and their relationship to roadway designStrong verbal communication and technical writing skillsAbility to train and mentor entry-level staffApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
