Senior IT Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our growing team. This role is primarily responsible for the overall delivery and management of application development and technology projects/products and serves as the project management lead in working with enterprise skill teams touching different areas of IT and Business Solutions.

(Remote position, required to go on-site once or twice a quarter.)

Responsibilities

In this role, you will report to the project management office (PMO)Provide leadership and support for the overall delivery and management of medium to high complexity projectsThis is a highly collaborative role that requires someone who is motivated with a positive demeanor, exhibits perseverance, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving skillsResponsible for project delivery, maintaining plans and processes, driving project decisions, resource and financial management, deliverable tracking, communication, risk and issue management and course correctionDevelop and execute scalable, repeatable, and transferable processes to further evolve the project management practicePrimary interface for projects including coordinating with internal IT teams, all levels of the organization, customers, vendor partners and business unit representativesWork with business analysts to provide advice and counsel to the business customers on solution options, costs, timelines, designs and business readinessSecure acceptance and approval of scope and deliverables from project sponsors, key customers, and stakeholdersFacilitate the implementation of solutions in a cost-effective manner by determining the requirements of a project or program, enabling solutioning, design and implementation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or a related field, or equivalent work experience7+ years of project management delivery on mid-high complex projects10+ years in Information Technology and business/industryProject Management Professional (PMP) certified preferredExperiential knowledge of budgets and forecastingPrior experience managing software product delivery projectsApplied understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologiesExperience leading Agile practices such as retrospectives and sprint planningFull understanding of the Systems Development Lifecyle (SDLC)Strong Jira knowledgeDemonstrated ability to lead complex projects requiring coordination of work with all levels of management, consensus-building and problem resolution, and development and execution of project plansExperience with cross-functional Salesforce project management is a plusMust have excellent communication and relationship building competency, including presentation skillsStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and influence at all management levels and with both technical and non-technical individuals and successfully manage in a cross-functional environment
