📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
hackajob has partnered with one of the largest multinational telecommunications and media conglomerate. We are currently seeking for a Back End Developer or C/C++ Developer who can develop a software update process for existing applications and assists in the roll-out of software releases.
Role: Back End Developer or C/C++ DeveloperLocation: Philadelphia, PASalary: $100K- $155K depending on experience + benefits package
Skillset:5+ years of professional experience in crafting embedded software applicationsProven C/C++ and Java programming skills and a good understanding of operating system fundamentalsStrong understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principlesExperience with Linux kernel and device driver development and deploymentBackground in Yocto, PKI, x509 v3, and embedded securityKnowledge of Cryptography Extensions, OpenSSL, EmbedTLS, and Bouncy Castle libraries Knowledge in encryption technologies and protocolsFamiliarity with source control systems (GitHub, Gerrit)Proficiency in Continuous Integration and Deployment tools (Jenkins, Concourse)Deep understanding of the HTTP/S protocolExperience with Agile/Scrum methodologiesExperience in Angular, Python, and GoLang to code, design, and develop softwareExperience working with Internet-of-Things frameworks or platforms (Apple HomeKit, Xfinity, Nest, AWS IoT, etc.)Comfort with tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopesExperience working on RDK devices
