hackajob has partnered with a pharmaceutical company looking for a motivated Business Director of Advanced Analytics (AA) responsible for leading the company’s business performance by utilizing advanced analytic techniques and big data sources to identify opportunities and risks for the brands and support the execution of the company’s vision and goals.
The role: Business Director of Advanced AnalyticsLocation: Hybrid in Durham, NCEmployment type: Full time permanent
Offer: up to $223k yr. (depending on experience) + benefits package
Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing or Life SciencesExtensive experience (8+ years) in analytics, preferably within the pharmaceutical/ biopharma or life sciences industry, with a demonstrated track record of success in leveraging data to drive business outcomes.Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team towards achieving common goals.Proficiency in statistical analysis, data manipulation, and programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or SAS.Experience working with diverse set of stakeholders to achieve meaningful outcomes that create business impactExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations that drive business growth and competitive advantage.Familiarity with pharmaceutical industry dynamics, market trends, regulatory landscape, and compliance requirements is a plus.
