hackajob has partnered with a management consulting company looking for a Software Engineer responsible for supporting the development of systems and capabilities centered on the company’s comprehensive motion imagery software suite.
The role: Software Engineer Location: McLean, VA Offer: up to $260k yr. (depending on experience) + benefits package
Qualifications: Active Security Clearance requiredExperienced in Microservice API development and integration (gRPC/REST)Manage communication endpoints in gRPC or REST REST-based service level integration, API negotiation, Threading and Load BalancingProficiency in Java programming language and related technologies (AOP, IOC).Strong understanding of JavaScript, including frameworks like React/Redux and AngularJS.Experience with GraphDB, SQL and NoSQL data modeling / visualization / querying MS SQL Server, OmniSci, Accumulo/Hadoop preferredProficiency in C++ programming language a plus Leverage messaging engines and HA clusters Kafka streams/ KsqlDBUse and manage containers and orchestration such as: Docker/KubernetesCreating containers, deploying containers, managing container orchestrationManaging scalability of deployed software products
