Fillauer TRS is presently seeking an entry level employee to fill our Urethane Lab Assistant opening. This full-time employee will focus on hand casting polyurethane and will also be involved in all parts of the manufacturing process. The right candidate will need to be a team player and adept at working independently with a strong ability for self-management. The position will report to the VP of Manufacturing.

Assist in all phases of polymer production and assembly of products Safety inspection and cleaning of work area Hand casting Quality control Follow proper assembly protocols Perform other related or necessary duties as assigned Proven track record of working well in a team environment

Minimum Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

Education: High School or equivalent Basic Chemistry is a must Strong math Ability to follow and understand instruction and written procedures Mechanical knowledge and experience is a plus Experience with basic hand tools required Prior experience with polyurethane casting is a plus Knowledge of and experience with quality control procedures Position may be required to regularly lift up to 50 pounds Position requires 5 or more hours standing Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Must be self-motivated, self-managed and willing to learn Must work well in a team environment Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.

Salary ranges vary based on skill, ability, knowledge, geographic location and other variables.
