Title: Legal Secretary (Insurance Defense)Location: New York, NY (Downtown)Salary: $55k-$75k
Haraka Headhunters has partnered with a well-established Downtown, Manhattan insurance defense firm seeking a legal secretary to add to its team due to exponential growth.
QualificationsIdeally, a minimum of 3 recent years of experience assisting attorneys and other legal staff members with the following:Preparing legal documents, such as pleadings, briefs, and motionsAssisting with document organization and management using iManage or similar softwareMaintaining client files and ensuring all documents are properly filed and organizedProofreading legal documents for accuracy and completenessAssisting with drafting correspondences and client communicationsHandling incoming and outgoing mail and other correspondences
EducationCollege degree or equivalent experience
