MRI Technologist
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist to join our client’s team in Lumberton, NC. In this role, you will play a crucial part in producing high-quality MRI images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You’ll work under the clinical supervision of a Radiologist and contribute to the smooth operation of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images as per Radiologist’s instructions.Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for patients during procedures.Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient departmental operations.
Education, Training, and Experience Requirements:Minimum Required:ARRT certification.Completion of a formal training program in MRI Technology.AART-MRI certification or ability to obtain it within six months of hire.Current BLS certification.
Preferred:Associate Degree in Radiography or related field.
Skills and Competencies:Proficiency in age-appropriate communication techniques and technical practices suitable for neonatal to geriatric patients.Demonstrated skillfulness with MRI equipment and procedural protocols before independent operation.
Additional Qualifications:Ability to mentor radiography students and new hires during their training phase.Provide feedback on technical proficiency without involvement in personnel management decisions.
Reporting Structure:Direct clinical oversight by assigned Radiologist(s).Operational and administrative direction provided by the Supervisor, CT/MRI department.
Full time-Benefits, Evenings, Mon-Fri 3P-11P , call to include week-ends
