Harmonic are excited be partnering with a fast-growth Fintech business, supporting them with their search for a Head of Talent. They have developed a payment processing platform and software platform which brings significant process improvement to their customers and they are proud to have announced lucrative partnerships with more than 80 Fortune 500 companies

With significant Series A investment from a selection of top tier VC funds they have scaled to $17m Revenue. A $50m Series B will be announced in the coming days as they begin the next phase of growth towards $50m Revenue. This will be underpinned by the scale-up of their Sales function and continued product development which will drive a steep increase in transaction revenue.

With top tier global investors including a leading Fintech VC fund and major institutional players they are embarking on significant international expansion in Europe and Asia as well.

The Role

As Head of Talent this role is integral to the development and scale of both the People function and the business itself. Working with an incredibly bright and talented Chief People Officer the role has extensive exposure to leadership teams creating and defining Talent Acquisition and Recruitment strategies both in the US and internationally.

Headcount is circa 120 and following the Series B will more than double by the end of 2025.

This role will suit someone that wants to work with autonomy and have an impact on an early-stage start-up. It will require someone that can think strategically whilst also being hands-on and detail orientated.

Duties

Work with the Chief of People Officer to build out talent strategy and hiring processes to scaleSupport leadership teams in all areas of the business to improve training /development, compensation, performance management and employee retention.Support the business to define and maintain it’s culture as they scale through a significant period of expansionDevelop Talent Acquisition processes that allow the business to attract and recruit the brightest and best in their respective fieldsAdvise the leadership team to ensure effective recruitment campaignsBuild a strong brand and reputation as an excellent employerIdentify locations with opportunities for expansion which align with strategic goals for talent engagementWork with external agencies to source specific talent when neededDevelop scalable processes for onboarding and off boarding employeesBuild and develop a Global Talent team as the business embarks on rapid international expansionSupport the Chief People Officer with the implementation of HR policies and processes in multiple countries

What you need

Previous experience working in fast-paced start-upDemonstrable impact scaling headcount globallyExcellent rapport builder with senior leaders

What we’d like to see:

Experience setting up recruitment processes for scalePrior experience in a rapid scale up phase post Series BExperience scaling headcount from 100 to over 300Experience in a Fintech or SaaS businessExperience setting up teams and new locations from scratch

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 + Bonus + Equity

Location: New York (or East Coast Hybrid)
