Job Description:As a pioneer in the Smart TV sector, Client has changed the way the world watches television. Our global product team continues to advance our Smart TV offering, building intelligent, integrated services that delight users with entertainment content and innovative lifestyle experiences.TV Plus is Client’s direct-to-consumer OTT video service featuring ad-supported linear channels and ad-supported VOD. In the US, TV Plus launched in April 2018 and is available on 2016 – ’24 models Client Smart TVs, as well as continually expanding via a mobile app. TV Plus is in the midst of an exciting period of growth and development.As part of the TV Plus Content team, this role will support the Programming and Curation team in building programming plans and schedules for internal operated linear channels distributed through the TV Plus service. The ideal candidate will be a critical thinker with high attention to detail and have a strong knowledge base for all thing’s entertainment movies and tv shows as well as kids, sports, music.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and implement content strategy through the curation of programming schedules for O&O linear channels to drive user consumption and discovery.Identify key editorial seasonal tentpoles and topical events to plan & execute programming stunts across FAST channelsEnsure curation meets the family-friendly quality standards for the serviceResponsible for using data entry of content key meta in to a content management systemEnsure that new content is fully on-boarded & prepped for schedulingWork closely with Asset Management & Ops team to resolve any content/asset issuesParticipate in screening new movies and series as submissions come in and giving feedbackQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required4 years of experience programming/content curation or TV programming experience (consumer-facing OTT video experience a plus)Demonstrated strength in Microsoft Office Suite - specifically Excel and an understanding of Content Management Systems (CMS), Metadata, and Program Standards & PracticesBroad knowledge and passion for entertainment/pop cultureExperience with content analysis and data analytics a plusExcellent collaborator with ability to work across a large organization and language barriers to drive resultsAirtable experience an assetStrong work ethic and attention to detailBilingual Spanish is a plus
Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent related work experience required4 years of programming/content curation or TV programming experience (consumer-facing OTT video experience a plus)
