Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role as a Property and Construction Bookkeeper located in Oxford, CT. As a Property and Construction Bookkeeper at Haynes Group, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, overseeing accounts receivable and payable, and producing financial reports. You will work closely with the finance team and project managers to ensure accurate and timely financial management for property development and construction projects.
Role includes accounting oversight of the Haynes Property Management Division and accounting support for Haynes Deveolpment and Construction Divisions.
Responsibilities include --CAM Reconciliation-Day to Day Accounting for various commercial and residential properties, including GL Management, Bank Reconciliation, Cash Flow Reporting-Oversight of AR and AP process related to commercial and residential properties-Job Cost support related to construction activity-Budget preparation
QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrevious experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar financial role in Real Estate or Construction IndustriesProficiency in accounting software and MS OfficeStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders
